Born in Solukhumbu Distirct, Taksindu Village Development Committee Ward no. 7,one of the a remote areas of Nepal, in 2022/3/8 Bikram Era i.e. on June 1965 A.D., son of Mr. Lakpha Sherpa and Mrs. Pashi Sherpa, Babu Chirri Sherpa has set various unprecedented world records e.g. climbing the Everest 10 times, spending the longest duration at the peak of Everest and climbing the Everest in the shortest time as well as consolidating prestige of Nepal in the field of mountaineering all over the world. Nepal lost a world famous mountaineer, who had aims to set more records in mountaineering, when he fell down in a crevasse while trying to climb the Everest 11th times on the rueful day of 29th of April,01.

Withstanding the unbearable blow at the heart of all Nepalese people, in the memory of the brave mountaineer, Babu Chirri Sherpa, to make his dreams come true and to enliven his contribution towards education, and to develop and enhance professional skills in the field of mountaineering, a "Babu Chrri Memorial Foundation Nepal" in the memory of Babu Chirri Shrepa has been incorporated. with co-operation and assistance from various organisations and individuals,

1. Name, Origin and Expansion:

1. The name of the foundation will be Babu Chirri Memorial Foundation Nepal and BCMF in abbreviated form.
2. This constitution will commence immediately
3. This constitution will be applicable to the member of this foundation

1. Definition:

1. 'Foundation implies', Babu Chirri Memorial Foundation.
2. 'Member' implies the founder members, ordinary members, life-time members and honorary members who are presently the members of the foundation.
3. 'Working committee' implies the committee formed according to this constitution.
4. 'General Assembly' implies the annual and special assembly of the foundation
5. 'Person' implies the living and Legal person.
6. 'Mountaineer' implies those Nepalese who are living on mountaineering profession
7. 'Act' implies the 'Act for registration of Non Government Organisation'
8. 'Constitution' implies to the constitution of Babu Chirri Foundation of Nepal, 2058(2001/2002)
9. 'Official' implies to those who hold position in the working committee of this foundation
10. 'Employees' implies to those who work in the secretariat and other offices of this foundation in return of the remuneration

1. Babu Chirri Memorial Foundation Nepal, 2058 will be established as a perpetual inheritor, autonomous body.
2. The headquarter of the Foundation will be in Kathmandu. The liaison and branch offices of the Foundation could be opened in any part of the Kingdom
3. BCMF will have separate logo and stamp and will be used in all the work of foundation. The working committee will decide about the design of the logo and stamp.
4. The foundation will be a non-profitable social institution.
5. The foundation will be able to acquire to use and to sell the moveable and im-moveable properties as an individual and to make previous legally or by any other means.
6. The foundation could sue and defend itself against any claim by its own name.

1. Objective:

1. To avail necessary help for the welfare of family of Babu Chirri Sherpa
2. To arrange necessary resources to realize the school projects started by Babu Chirri Sherpa, and to support fitting and relevant educational projects in the future.
3. To prepare his biography, to conserve, maintain and create articles and write-ups, documentary etc in order to enliven his personality.
4. To develop activities on mountaineering, to enhance the professional skill, ability and efficiency of Nepalese mountaineers, to make this profession respectable as well as to run various programs for the welfare of the family of mountaineers.
5. To enhance and popularize the personality of Babu Chirri Sherpa by organising various activities and programs other than mountaineering.
